This will most likely be the last journal I'll write on the situation, from my point of view at least. To clarify a few things.

I will not stop submitting art.

I will not stop submitting prints.

I will not stop commenting on art.

I will not be removing my gallery, or hiding it.

I will not be participating in a boycott.

I will not stop supporting the community as I have been doing for the past 2 years.

I am wholly appreciative of what °jark has accomplished and gifted us with in the form of deviantart.com

I am staying at deviantart.com

The current state of the community is a nightmare. The atmosphere everywhere has gone totally sour. Friendships are being torn apart, reputations are being defiled, and people seem to be so angry that it's feeling less like "home" everyday. It's steadily coming to the point where I don't like being here, and that's disastrous for me at least. Now, I have no problem with people sharing their support for °jark. I'll do it myself, he was a fantastic leader, a special person. But when it comes to people issuing current staff members with threats of violence, catapulting ludicrous accusations of not supporting the greater cause because they've been brainwashed and bribed? A lot of those staff know as much (or as little) as you and I. Some are staying because they want to keep this community running, they aren't doing anything wrong and shouldn't be chastised as such. Things are getting out of control. Nothing anyone is doing is really unified, where it would so much of a difference.

Now my ultimate stance is this - I do not agree with °jark being involuntarily dismissed. From my point of view, he's been nothing but good for this community - and nobody can really say that they've put in as much love as he has, because this is his creation, and he's been here for 5 years of that. If he went and made another community, I'd join that one too. So I am all in support of finding out the truth, since I believe that's something we deserve. T52 can tell you some things, but not all of it has been verified. Take with a pinch of salt if you will, and try not to develope a mob mentality and take everything as the bonafide truth at first look. Until I know the truth (and lord knows, I may never know), I will continue to praise °jark for his handiwork. I will not incite hatred against the current administration, nor will I deplore the efforts of those sincerely making a good effort to discover that real circumstances of this debacle. I'm doing this because funnily enough, I do give a damn about this website.

Shoot me for sitting on the fence if you wish, but I'm not getting my hands cut off in this fiasco - I need them for making my art, which is the ultimate reason I am here.

Go give $lolly some support in his new position. He should not be subject to attack for taking on this role, and at least he's somebody who knows this community and cares for it too.

Go thank °jark and °matteo for making this website where you can post your art, and for maintaining it with their love.

Go and thank the administration that have resigned for the work they have put into the website. Respect their decision to leave.

Go and thank the administration that have stayed on for the work they'll continue doing to keep this website afloat. Respect their decision to stay.

And most importantly for all, don't destroy this website.

Finally - this journal is a statement, not a debate. I'm quickly growing tired, and I don't want to incur stress due to this. So pardon me if I'm slack with the replies. I just want to be grateful for a change. All in this journal represents my feelings, and my feelings only. Don't lump anyone else into this, and don't lump me with anybody else's feelings.

I've also managed to confuse myself whilst writing this, so if there are any holes in it, then uh, sorry . Also, I am ready and willing to adjust my stance at any time with the revealing of new, verified and truthful information.
