This is something in a much more experimental vein. My holiday was mostly wet, so not many times I could go out and take pictures, but this occasion was rather frosty, so took my camera and new lens to see what I could come up with.

Now I had an alien theme in mind, and there are a few tools in this to make it how it turned out. The first being little kiddy-joke smoke pellets to get the mist behind, the blue effect was caused by a torch aimed at an angle with blue acetone affixed to the bulb. The plant was also lit from above by my brother using another mini torch. Took a few shots to get it looking good, luckily I had my laptop with me to check. A few other nice results came out (one particularly icy version) but this is my favourite.

Only photoshop adjustments were cropping, some minor darkening at the top to finish off the fade, and bordering. So I'm pretty happy that I didn't have to mash around a lot with this one. Looks kinda "alieny" too.
