My collab with eponce :) this involves some heavy experimentational work into the sci-fi genre on my part, and some damned awesome work by eponce to top it off.

Snow mountain and initial atmosphere - eponce
Space, presentation - alyn

It's called "rift" because up above in space there is a nice break in the flow, like a nebula effect, except more violent, a lot more violent, from which you can see asteroids escaping, some lightning effects... it's a pretty chaotic scene, adds contrast to below.

But yeah experimentation, why? i've NEVER made asteroids without fire before, and never in a non circular shape, so please offer help on these if you can :) Also, the nebula effect just above the low left planet, i thought it was awesome, but since it was expeirmentation, i never noted down how to exactly get that effect :( gotta keep working and retracing i spose.

and look, new border style!

eponce did me proud, i told him what i wanted, one of his kickass mountain scenes, and he gave me what i wanted. So do HIM justice and CHECK HIS GALLERY! and GIVE HIM A DEVWATCH!.
