The space part for a indy piece i'm working on... just need to get a nice terrain and conjunction going on. But made this whilst bored on holiday... kinda a birthday deviation... i like it anyway.... stuff going boom.

One thing i took into serious consideration whilst making this image, was the planet rings. LOADS of people use dkf's great method of creating rings, but not many people experiment beyond that.... do some research about it. Rings are often made of tiny rocks... now noise does the job quite well, but what if you want to pronounce the rocks better? so i attempted to simulate that better here, as well as making my starfields better and my planets more detailed. Experimentation looking good.
